DESCRIPTION:Friday\, May 22The Far Out LoungeDoors at 7pm  \nMASTER BOOT RECORD (aka MBR) is a Computer Metal project founded in 2016 by producer Vittorio D’amore mixing together heavy metal and synthesized electronic music. \nStarting in 2016 releasing albums under the chiptune/demoscene label Data Airlines has moved in 2018 to Blood Music to expand its audience to the electronic scene. In 2019 MASTER BOOT RECORD settled with Metal Blade Records\, the historic metal label based in Los Angeles to release the latest two albums “Floppy Disk Overdrive (2020)” and “Personal Computer(2022)” helping the project to gain increased popularity worldwide. MBR has also produced the video game “VirtuaVerse” as well as its original soundtrack. VirtuaVerse was released in 2020 on all gaming platforms as well as Nintendo Switch\, Xbox and Playstation. \nThe project as a live band increased their live activity in 2022 including live performing artists such as the guitar virtuoso and Ibanez endorser Edoardo Taddei at lead guitars and technical death metal drummer Giulio Galati. \nMBR released 14 albums so far with multiple record labels and has been one of the most successful musicians on US digital distribution platform Bandcamp charting #1 in general charts several times. Nekromantix chases a darkly romantic muse with an even darker humor. \nThe Nekromantix catalog boasts enduring genre classics like the unapologetically hooky yet undeniably fierce “Who Killed the Cheerleader?” and “Gargoyles Over Copenhagen” alongside subversively sentimental cuts like “Haunted Cathouse” and “Subcultural Girl.” There are echoes of rock n’ roll’s greats and punk rock icons alike\, all with modern flair. \nArmed with his signature coffin bass\, chilling baritone\, monstrous expressions and ten-stories-tall haircut\, Kim Nekroman has earned tremendous respect\, admiration and goodwill from a fiercely dedicated legion of hard-partiers\, rabble-rousers\, well-meaning degenerates\, grease monkeys\, outlaw bikers\, nostalgic tastemakers and forward-thinking punks. It’s a crew of supporters as diverse as the otherwise classic and timeless music the Danish-born California transplant has unleashed as leader of Nekromantix. \nVoodoo Glow Skulls were formed in 1988 by Eddie Casillas\, Jorge Casillas\, Jerry O’neill and Frank Casillas. After a few years of backyard party shows\, cassette demos\, 7” singles and first club gigs\, they released their debut album “Who is\, this is?” for Dr. Strange records in 1993\, gaining the attention of Brett Gurewitz\, owner of Epitaph records. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, July 8The Far Out LoungeDoors at 6:30pm \nTickets on sale Friday\, March 27 at 10 AM! \nCorrosion of Conformity are reuniting with guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan for UK/European and North American dates. Other than a few surprise appearances\, this will be the first time Keenan has toured with the band since 2006. This will also be the first time the “Deliverance” lineup of the group has played together since 2001. \nC.O.C. recently emerged from hibernation as a trio and released 2012’s eponymous album and 2014’s “IX” to wide acclaim\, but many have been eagerly awaiting the return of Pepper Keenan. \nThe band were originally an influential hardcore punk/heavy metal crossover act before reaching critical success with a new lineup on 1991’s “Blind” album.
