Upcoming Events: June 2021

June Events

Happy Pride Month! Since our last update a lot of Texas has been vaccinated and the city and county have loosened up restrictions. Elysium, Valhalla, Mohawk, Cheer Up Charlies and more are back and having shows. We added over 40 events on the calendar for June, most of which are in-person, some are recurring weekly and a couple are streaming. Valhalla has been on a booking frenzy. They have 2-3 shows a week booked through August. Kick Butt Coffee is still hosting streaming events with a live audience by invitation only, but they are booking shows open to the public with 2 happening in June. Come and Take It Live added a ton more metal shows through the end of the year. If you are into horror movies, the Paramount Theater has several classic horror and horror comedies playing in June and July. If ska is your thing, you don’t want to miss Los Skarnales at Flamingo Cantina. A new place called the Grandstand opened in May and hosts sideshow and cabaret shows. Oilcan Harry’s and the Iron Bear are hosting a bunch of fetish events. And, burlesque is back. Madman Maverick is hosting a burlesque/cabaret show at Valhalla that looks really fun.

Visit the Events section of our site to see everything that is happening in June. We update the calendar several times a week, so bookmark it!

Nosferatu Festival 2022

We are excited to announce that we are once again working with Gore Noir Magazine to produce Nosferatu Festival! The 4th Annual Nosferatu Festival is back March 4-6, 2022 with a live, in-person event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the film, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horrors.

We will continue the tradition of having the kick-off party Friday night at Kick Butt Coffee followed by two full days of vendors, sideshow, burlesque, DJs, and bands at Come and Take It Live.

We are still working out the details but a small batch of early bird and VIP tickets will go on sale soon. More info will be announced over the following months. For the latest updates visit http://nosferatuferstival.com or follow the event page on Facebook.
