Upcoming Events: December 2022

Reflecting on 2022 as it is coming to a close, it’s been such a pretty good year for events that it’s hard to believe we were just living through a pandemic! As per usual, several venues only published their December calendars at the beginning of December (and some have events only published 2 weeks out!) , so we are playing catch up. By “we” I mean me. The Darker Side of Austin is a one-person operation with some folks helping out here and there.

Anyways, forget Xmas and NYE. From what I’ve seen adding events to the calendar, it looks like Saturday, December 17th is the biggest holiday event day of the month. The day starts out with the Bloody Rose & Tigress Pub Holiday Black Market from 12-5pm and the Yule Witches Market at Far Out Lounge from 12-5, followed by Naughty or Nice ‘Krampus’ Night Bazaar hosted by The Glass Coffin from 5-10pm and then the Nightmare Before Christmas Gothic Ball & Bazaar at Elysium from 9pm-2am!

• The 7th Annual Goblin King’s New Years Eve Ball at Elysium – Dec 31

The Darker Side of Austin and Bloody Rose Boutique present: A Horror Punk Xmas

Bloody Rose is taking the Black Market out to the suburbs with the help of the Darker Side of Austin. We’re bringing 3 kick-ass Austin horror punk bands and some of our Austin-based goth, punk and horror artists and vendors from the Bloody Rose Black Market!

Doors & Black Market at 8pm. Performances start at 9pm.
