DESCRIPTION:IT’S OK TO SCREAM – New works by RICARDO ACEVEDOa tribute to DAVID LYNCH \nIn the dark\, in the shadow of our subconscious lay dreams of passion and torment\, of willingness and rebellion. These topics have always driven my art. Like for many David Lynch was the patron saint of all this. His ability to see the corruption and beauty of dreams\, the moody unpredictability of existence. The places we go to find ourselves and others who share the mystery of perception\, time\, space and the romance of things seen as ugly by many. These times are full of all these things writhing\, screaming\, whispering\, pointing us to introspection. Seeking\, always seeking love. \nMy installation and performance poetry will attempt to portray all this. How my brain see’s this all. \nI will be joined by Lynchian high priestess BETTY X! Who will provide the overall soundtrack for the opening\, as only a true Lynch aficionado can.
