Austin Pioneer Farms Investigation with Austin Paranormal Investigations
December 12, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$45
Does your love for the paranormal run a little (or a lot) deeper than most? Is binge watching ghost hunting shows one of your favorite past times? Have you always wanted to experience a real paranormal investigation for yourself?
Well, if you’re brave enough, this is your opportunity.
Join the team of Austin Paranormal Investigations for a genuine, three hour investigation of one of the most haunted locations in central Texas, the Jourdan-Bauchman Pioneer Farms. Cradled by Walnut Creek, this sprawling 100 acre property lies just 10 miles northeast of downtown Austin, and features more than 15 relocated and restored historical buildings as well as the farm’s original homestead and an area dedicated to the Tonkawa Native American tribe which are confirmed to have lived in the area for several generations.
It seems as though more than just timber and stone have been transported to the living museum as buildings have been moved there over the years, judging by the plethora of unexplainable sightings and experiences reported by employees, volunteers and patrons of the farms. A young Native American girl is often seen by groups of school children during guided tours. An unknown cowboy has been seen tending to the farm’s horses and disappearing into thin air, or more even more mysteriously, to cows…when the farm had no cows on the property. During Halloween festivities, several patrons complained to staff that a tall man in dark clothes had turned them and their small children away from going down one of the scarier haunted trails, but staff realized there was no such man working in that area, or on the farms at all. And perhaps the most well known and loved presence by staff and volunteers would be that of Mrs. Bell, who still keeps a watchful eye on her once vacation home, the Bell House. And the best part is, this short list doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of activity that has been reported over the years at the Jourdan-Bauchman Pioneer Farms.
If your instincts are calling you to get a taste of the action for yourself, we want to give you the opportunity to enjoy the farms in a way that most patrons never will, guided by a team of investigators with more than 20 years experience. Our goal is to bring you on an authentic investigation, not just a guided tour. We will be working with tools and techniques like what you might see on TV, EMF meters, spirit boxes, EVP recorders, teaching you how to use them and how we work with them on an investigation. If you’re already an experienced investigator, we encourage you to bring along your own equipment if you like.
Whether it’s your first investigation or your 500th, you will not regret taking a step back in time and joining us for an evening surrounded by history and spirits under the big, beautiful Texas sky.
There is a limited number of tickets available and the total max is 20, there are no tickets available at the event and there will be no walk-ins
