Steve Jones (guitar), Paul Cook (drums) and Glen Matlock (bass), the three founding members of the Sex Pistols, were joined by Frank Carter (vocals) at Emo’s in Austin to perform the seminal punk rock album, Nevermind the Bollocks by the Sex Pistols. Original lead singer, Johnny Rotten (aka John Lydon) remains estranged from the band. But his absence didn’t stop the audience of young and old from seeing the rest of band run through one of the most historic albums in punk rock history. There were some skeptics in the crowd, but Frank Carter’s performance captured the spirit of ’77 and the audience. Opening the show was the Welsh punk band, Panic Shack.
